The New HVCC is coming!

Most of you have probably heard of the new Fanniemae Letter 09-01 most referred to as the Home Valuation Code of Conduct.

What is also being required as part of the HVCC is that lenders have a firewall in place to separate the appraisers from the loan originators. Because of this firewall, many clients will not be able to order their appraisal directly from their appraisers. Many new AMC's (Appraiser Management Companies) have emerged out of no where to act as the firewall.

My software company has formed an AMC of it's own to help act as a firewall for my clients if you so wish to do so.
